The competition was organized by the Shri Chinmoy Mission. Manav’s coach and TMC lifeguard trainer Rajesh More represented India as team manager. The race started at 7 a.m. on August 3, 2025, from Rapperswil. The weather was challenging, with a water temperature of 23°C, air temperature of 11°C, and strong headwinds causing resistance.
