Golden Jubilee Festival: Launch of Five Books at Mayor’s Mandap.

Thane witnessed a grand celebration during the Ganeshotsav Golden Jubilee Festival as the Mayor’s Mandap hosted the launch of five books, drawing a full house of literature lovers. The event, organized by Thane Vaibhav, marked the release of Chhapva Chhapva, a special edition commemorating 90 years.

Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde praised Thane Vaibhav for its long-standing contribution to journalism and cultural awareness. Noted personalities including Pratap Sarnaik, Milind Ballal, and Dr. Anil Karnik shared their insights on literature, culture, and Thane’s heritage.

Author Ambar Oke spoke about the powerful impact of the book Pound Block, while Pratap Sarnaik called Thane Vaibhav “a big platform for Thane’s progress.” Editor Milind Ballal stressed the importance of upholding values in media.
