Development of Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare Park Begins.

Work to Include Modern Facilities and Cultural Infrastructure.

The development work for Shivshahir Babasaheb Purandare Park in Vadvali has officially started. The foundation stone was laid by MLA Dr. Balaji Kinikar. The project aims to create an open-air theatre and modern park with enhanced facilities for citizens. Ambarnath city, known for its cultural and artistic heritage, will benefit greatly from this project. The redevelopment will cost around ₹2 crore and will include top-quality amenities. Dr. Kinikar stated that the project will fulfill the long-pending demands of citizens and art lovers. The park will feature an open-air stage, rooms, children’s park, open gym, landscape garden, jogging track, amphitheatre, CCTV cameras, historical mini Shiv Shilp, mini bus station, and a dedicated women’s dialogue forum. The groundbreaking event was attended by municipal officials, local leaders, and residents. Architect Suryakant Salunkhe, who designed the project, shared details of the upcoming facilities. The redevelopment is expected to begin soon and will enhance Ambarnath’s cultural and recreational spaces.
