BJP State President Ravindra Chavan has stated that the Kalyan-Dombivli Municipal Corporation requires a BJP mayor to accelerate development projects in the city. He expressed this opinion while speaking at a party joining event in Kalyan. Chavan emphasized that under the leadership of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, development work across Maharashtra has gained momentum. He appealed to citizens and social workers in Kalyan to support BJP in upcoming municipal elections to ensure further progress. The event, organized in Kalyan West’s Mahajanwadi Hall, saw the participation of several social workers and leaders from other parties who joined BJP. Prominent BJP leaders including Kripashankar Singh, Jagannath Patil, MLA Sulochana Gaikwad, and other party members were present at the event. Chavan assured that with BJP in power at the municipal level, the city would experience rapid and organized development.
