Dattatray Madvi Elected as President of Thane District Koli Community
Unanimous Decision at Community Meeting
Dattatray Madvi has been unanimously elected as the President of the Thane District Koli Community. The election was held on June 30, 2025, during a meeting organized at Koli Samaj Bhavan, Kalyan-Lonad.
The meeting was attended by various community leaders and members. The event was chaired by Ekveera Devi Temple Committee, and on July 16, the formal announcement of Madvi’s appointment was made. Under his leadership, the community aims to strengthen unity and work on development issues affecting the Koli population in the region.

The program saw the presence of many prominent figures, including Vishwanath Koli, Mangal Tandale, Swapnil Koli, Shyam Murkute, Ravi Tare, Dinesh Madvi, Nivritti Tayde, Rajendra Kotkar, Amar Madvi, Ravi Madvi, Abhi Joshi, Samir Bhoir, Padal, and other community leaders.
The community expressed hope that under Madvi’s leadership, various social and welfare activities would gain momentum, benefiting Koli families across Thane district.
