Slum Authority’s 22 Services Now Online.
Services for Slum Dwellers Made Easier.
The Slum Rehabilitation Authority has made 22 of its services available online for citizens and slum dwellers. These services are now accessible through a government portal. Under the Maharashtra Right to Public Services Act 2015, the process of making these 22 services online began a few days ago and has now been completed.
This move will help citizens and slum dwellers access services easily. Some of the services include providing certified copies of approved proposals, allotment orders for PPP tenements, eligibility letters for slum dwellers in Greater Mumbai based on the 2000 survey cutoff, and details on facilities like balwadis (playgrounds) and society offices. Other services include issuing bhogvata (possession) certificates, certified maps, registration of cooperative housing societies under the Slum Rehabilitation Scheme, and tenement transfer services after five years of bhogvata.
