Maharashtra Telugu Meet Garners Huge Response

Event Highlights Cultural & Community Bonding in Thane.

The “Telugu Aai aur Marathi Mavasti” (Telugu Mother and Marathi Soil) event was organized by the Federation of Telugu Associations of Maharashtra (F-TAM) in Thane on Sunday, September 7, 2025. The event, held at Dr. Kashinath Ghane’s venue from 9 am to 1 pm, saw participation from over a thousand Telugu-speaking people from Maharashtra, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka.

Under the leadership of F-TAM President Shri Jagannababu Gungi and Secretary Shri Ashok Kante, along with team members, the event celebrated community and culture. Notable awards were given out: Radhakrishna Raju received the Life Time Achievement Award, Abhilash Amula won the Start-up Excellence Award, and Bhushya Godavari was honored with the Natya Shiromani (Theater Excellence) Award.
