Maharashtra Boxer Sanjana Hivarkar Wins Gold in National Thai Boxing

Details of the Victory
Sanjana Hivarkar from Thane, Maharashtra, won a gold medal in the National Thai Boxing competition held in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh from August 29 to 31. Sanjana was trained by Mr. P. Vay. The competition saw participation from 16 states and over 500 players across India.

Mr. P. Vay, President of the International Thai Boxing Association, was the chief guest of the event. Minister Daya Shankar handed out prizes to the players. Sanjana Hivarkar from Thane has been making waves in the sports field.
