Building’s Decorative Part Collapses in Mumbai; Two Women Injured.
A part of the decorative structure (D-Wing) of the Lucky Compound building in Daulat Nagar, Mumbai collapsed on Monday midnight. Two women walking beside the building were seriously injured. One of the injured women, aged 62, died during treatment at Bilal Hospital in Mumbra. The other injured woman, aged 26, is undergoing treatment at Kalsekar Hospital in Mumbra.
The building has more than 3 floors and a terrace. It is about 25 years old. The fourth-floor room number 404 in the building is owned by tenant Rehan Farjani. The two injured women, Sana Tower residents, were walking near Madina Masjid in the Kausa Kabrastan area when the incident occurred.
