Four Mobile Phones Stolen in a Single Day in Mumbra.
In a concerning development, four mobile theft cases were reported in a single day from different parts of Mumbra city. The incidents took place in areas such as Shantinagar, Kausa, and Bhaindarpada. Local police have registered cases and begun investigations to trace the culprits.
In the first case, a 30-year-old man from Kausa left his mobile phone to charge at a public charging point, only to find it missing shortly after. The second theft occurred when a woman’s mobile phone was snatched from her purse while she was traveling by rickshaw in the Kausa bypass area.
Another mobile was stolen from a 22-year-old youth while walking near the Bhaindar area. The fourth incident involved a theft during a crowd situation in Shantinagar, where the victim noticed their mobile phone missing from their pocket.
Police have filed cases against unidentified persons and have intensified patrolling in the area. Authorities are urging residents to stay alert in public spaces and avoid leaving phones unattended.
