Eknath Bhoir Foundation Organizes Dahi Handi Celebration for Labourers.

The Eknath Bhoir Foundation and Shiv Sena Yuva Sena jointly organized a Dahi Handi celebration in Thane. The event was held at the Wagle Estate area and was attended by Eknath Bhoir, a corporator, and Yajnesh Bhoir, the Deputy Leader of the Thane Lok Sabha.

Prizes and Incentives

The Dahi Handi competition saw enthusiastic participation from various Govinda teams. The winning teams were awarded cash prizes, with the first prize being Rs. 51,000. The event also saw the presence of Maharashtra’s Deputy Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, along with several artists.

Objective

The primary objective of organizing the Dahi Handi celebration was to bring together the labourers and provide them with a platform to showcase their skills. The event aimed to promote unity and camaraderie among the participants. The organizers, Eknath Bhoir and Yajnesh Bhoir, expressed their commitment to continuing such initiatives in the future.
