Traffic Changes at Sahajanand Chowk to Ease Congestion.

To solve traffic jams at Kalyan West’s busy Sahajanand Chowk, the traffic police have issued a new notification changing traffic routes in the area. This decision was made after repeated demands by MLA Prakash Bhoir and local representatives to address heavy congestion. According to the notification, vehicles coming from Santoshimata Road towards Sahajanand Chowk will no longer be allowed to enter directly. Instead, they must take a diversion via McKar Road, Ahilyabai Chowk, Aamra Mandir, and then proceed towards Ram Baug. A total of six routes have been altered for smoother traffic flow. The changes will be implemented on a trial basis for 30 days. The new route plan aims to ensure smooth traffic and reduce jams in Kalyan West. Emergency service vehicles such as ambulances, fire brigades, and police vehicles will not be affected by these changes. Citizens have been urged to follow the new traffic directions for better road safety and convenience.
