Transfer Cases to Be Handled Transparently in Thane

To make transfer-related work faster and more transparent, Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) will hold a special “Ferfar Adalat” (Transfer Court). This step is part of the state government’s “Majhi Ladki Bahin” campaign.

Through this initiative, citizens can get their property transfer applications processed without delays. The municipal corporation will ensure that cases are resolved efficiently and openly.

Citizens will also have the facility to apply for property transfers from their homes through an online system. This will reduce the need for multiple visits to the office and bring convenience to daily life.

Alongside, TMC will run a “Seva Pankhrawda” program where senior officers will visit different wards, meet people directly, and solve their issues. This effort aims to strengthen trust between the administration and citizens by making services more accessible.
