Beenet Communication make Malvan Katta taste the bitter pill of defeat in the 48th Thanevaibhav Inter Office Cricket Tournament

In a one-sided match, Beenet Communication defeated Malvani Katta by seven wickets on Thursday at Central Maidan in the 48th Thanevaibhav Inter Office Cricket Tournament.

Beenet Communication bowled out Malvani Katta cheaply for 84 in 18.1 overs. Sagar Muley and Siddharth Ghule demolished Malvani Katta’s batting order as they scalped four wickets each. Muley and Ghule conceded just five runs and picked the key wickets. Besides Hrushikesh Pawar (34 runs from 24 balls) and Siddhesh Darde (29 runs from 37 balls), none of the other batters from Malvan Katta could score in double digits.

Chasing a modest 85, Beenet Communication completed the task in 16 overs with seven wickets in hand. Opening batter Deepak Bhogle led the run chase from the front as he muscled 46 runs from 39 balls, including nine fours. On the other hand, Darde, Pawar, and Tanish Patkar were the wicket-takers, accounting for one wicket apiece.
