MNS Inspects Potholes on Ghodbunder Road, Warns of Protest
Due to potholes on Thane’s Ghodbunder Road, 19 citizens have lost their lives in the last six months. In response, MNS (Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) District Chief Avinash Jadhav inspected the area along with officers from MSRDC, MMRDA, the Public Works Department, and the Thane Municipal Corporation.
Jadhav and his team surveyed the potholes near Ghodbunder Ghat and warned that if repairs are not done within a month, MNS will start a strong protest. He stated that despite crores of rupees being spent, potholes remain unrepaired, and this is unacceptable.
Jadhav demanded accountability and questioned why citizens are dying despite the government claiming to have completed roadworks. He said if the funds have been used, the names of those responsible must be made public.
The inspection highlighted the urgent need for immediate repair and accountability, with MNS warning of agitation if no action is taken soon.
