Massive Fire at Fabric Processing Company in Dombivli MIDC
Quick action by fire brigade prevents major damage; no casualties reported
A huge fire broke out on Wednesday afternoon at an Aerosol company in the MIDC area where fabric processing work was ongoing. Thankfully, no injuries or loss of life were reported, though the fire caused significant damage to the property.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, but it is suspected to be due to a short circuit or a technical fault during fabric processing. The fire spread rapidly, impacting the entire plant.
Four fire engines responded quickly and managed to control the blaze before it could spread further. Employees and nearby workers evacuated safely in time.
Fire Officer Mahadev Chaudhari and his team acted swiftly and helped contain the situation. The President of the Manufacturers’ Association (KAMA) and other officials also reached the site promptly and supported the rescue and relief operations.
This incident has raised safety concerns regarding industrial processes in the area.
