India has blocked Turkish TV channels like TRT World for spreading false information about India and supporting Pakistan. Earlier, India had blocked Chinese media handles; now similar action is taken on Turkey. These channels reportedly shared fake content on India’s internal matters and supported Pakistan on terrorism issues. The action is linked to ‘Operation Sindhu’ launched after the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam. The Indian government has emphasized that national security and social harmony are top priorities, and misinformation will not be tolerated.
