MLA Sanjay Kelkar Informs About Action on 14-Year-Old Redevelopment Delay.
Redevelopment of five MHADA buildings in Vartak Nagar has been pending for 14 years. MLA Sanjay Kelkar stated that a criminal case will be filed against the developers for fraud and delay. Residents of buildings 48, 49, and 50 have been severely affected. Kelkar met with Thane Police Commissioner Dnyaneshwar Phad and requested that a financial crime case also be registered. Residents have demanded strict action, as even after two meetings, no work has started.
