Pollution Control Measures Failed, Says BJP Leader Narayan Pawar
Thousands of fish have died again in Siddheshwar Lake, near the municipal headquarters. A similar incident occurred on April 24. Though the municipality claimed to begin pollution control steps, BJP’s Narayan Pawar said those efforts failed. Residents noticed dead fish floating and informed Pawar, who alerted the authorities. Despite promises of water testing and pollution checks, the problem repeated. Locals and leaders demand immediate and effective action from the Thane Municipal Corporation to prevent further environmental damage.
