Six Teachers Honored with District Ideal Teacher Award

Thane: On the occasion of Teachers’ Day, the Zilla Parishad organized the District Ideal Teacher Award 2025–26 ceremony. Six teachers from different talukas of the district were felicitated for their outstanding contribution in the field of education. The program was held under the guidance of CEO Dr. J. G. Harichandan.

The award-winning teachers are: Varsha Bhosale (Ambarnath), Pushpalata Bhoir (Murbad), Rajaram Wade (Kalyan), Avinash Suryavanshi (Murbad), Rajaram Gaykar (Bhiwandi), and Navnita Phad (Shahapur). They were honored for innovative teaching methods, commitment to students, and efforts to improve education quality.

Speakers at the event said that teachers not only shape the future of students but also play an important role in society’s progress. They highlighted how modern facilities, digital education, and government schemes like Pragat Shaikshanik Maharashtra are helping teachers.

Teachers expressed gratitude and pledged to continue their efforts in guiding students towards success.
