Thane’s Cultural Gem Set to be Unveiled by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde.

The wait is over for the city’s art enthusiasts as the much-awaited inauguration of the renovated Ram Ganesh Gadkari Rangayatan is finally scheduled for August 15, 2025. The ceremony is set to be graced by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, alongside the presence of veteran theater personality Suhas Joshi.

The event is slated to take place at 11 am on Independence Day, promising a grand celebration of the city’s cultural heritage. The Rangayatan, a significant cultural landmark in Thane, has been revamped to provide a state-of-the-art venue for theatrical performances and other cultural events.

The inauguration ceremony will also feature a ‘Folk Lok’ program, showcasing the talents of young artists through Lokgeet-based performances. The event is expected to draw a large audience, including prominent dignitaries and art enthusiasts.
