Eco-Friendly Ganesh Idol Workshop by Rotary Club of Badlapur Industrial Area.

The Rotary Club of Badlapur Industrial Area recently organized an eco-friendly Ganesh idol-making workshop. This initiative, which has been successfully conducted for the past 17 years, aims to promote the use of clay idols and reduce environmental pollution during Ganeshotsav.

Two-Day Idol-Making Event

The workshop was held on July 26 and 27, where participants created idols by hand using natural clay. The idols prepared during the session were then painted with eco-friendly colors on August 3. Trainers guided participants through every step of the idol-making process.

Promoting Eco-Conscious Celebrations

All idols were made without harmful materials, ensuring they are safe for immersion. Participants were encouraged to perform Ganesh Chaturthi rituals at home with these idols. The club also distributed certificates and appreciation tokens to participants for their active involvement in promoting a greener celebration.
