Renowned industrialist, former Chairman of the Raymond Group, and Padma Bhushan awardee Vijaypat Singhania passed away in Mumbai at the age of 87. The news of his demise was shared by his son and the current chairman of the Raymond Group, Gautam Singhania. His funeral rites were performed on Sunday.

Vijaypat Singhania was not just an industrialist; he was also a well-known aviator. He holds the world record for reaching the highest altitude in a hot air balloon. Because of his adventurous nature, he was always a subject of public interest.
