United for Thane: Care, Culture and Community
The Rotary Club of Thane Urbania (RCTU), Solaris Hospital, and their civic partners help uplift the Thane community by bridging healthcare, public safety, cultural heritage, and the well-being of vulnerable generations.
A Blood Donation Camp and Thalassemia Awareness Camp: Organised with Solaris Hospital, the Ghodbunder Road blood donation and Thalassemia awareness camp received an overwhelming response. Led by RCTU President Rtn Dr Deepak Aiwale, the event was covered by Thanevaibhav.
Fall Free Thane: Jointly organised at the AP Shah Institute of Technology by RCTU and Solaris Hospital on January 18, 2026, this safety initiative aimed to prevent accidental falls and secure safer environments. The event featured an engaging poster-making competition with enthusiastic participation from local schools and housing societies.
Jyeshthotsav: Co-powered by Solaris Hospital and Thanevaibhav at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Mini Theatre, they celebrated senior citizens through Hindi and Marathi singing performances. It also featured an informative health session on active aging and preventive care by Dr Amit Aiwale.

Killa Mahotsav : This signature heritage project by RCTU, the Rotary Club of Thane, Solaris Hospital, and Anusaya Charitable Trust featured detailed miniature forts made by children. It aimed to promote teamwork, cultural education, and pride in Maharashtra’s history and Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s legacy.
Sadak Suraksha Jeevan Suraksha: A District Grant Project, in partnership with Thane Traffic Police, equips road personnel with specialised trauma kits and rescue gear (including spine boards and cervical collars) to stabilise victims and save lives during critical “Golden Hour” traffic accidents
