TMC Staff: The Wait is Over!

MLA Sanjay Kelkar recently chaired a meeting held at the Municipal Headquarters regarding the pending demands of the Thane Municipal Corporation employees. The administration said that positive solutions will soon implement.

A crucial discussion took place regarding the pending 14-month arrears (from December 2022 to January 2024) for employees who joined after 2016. The administration assured that they will be paying the arrears soon.

The promotion process will take speed and vacant positions will fill soon. Discussions regarding the permanent inclusion of contract workers under the National Urban Health Mission took place. Relief was provided to employees who had received educational salary increments; their salary increments will restore to their previous status.

The meeting was attended by MLA Sanjay Kelkar, Deputy Mayor Krishna Patil, Corporator Vikas Patil and other senior officials.
