Teen Builds ‘Bronto AI’
Jeet Bhaskar, a 12th-class student from Navi Mumbai, has developed an app called ‘Bronto AI’ using technology that recognises human emotions. It is essentially an emotion-based platform.
The app identifies the user’s tone, emotions, and context to provide relevant answers. Notably, in audio conversations, it can recognise variations in pitch and voice modulation to provide a suitable response.
Jeet explained that while AI from many companies is advanced, it often lacks a human touch.
The ‘Bronto AI’ retains previous chats, creating an experience in which the user feels they are talking to someone close to them. If a user is experiencing sadness or distress, the AI consoles them and provides encouragement and solutions.
To create this AI, Jeet studied numerous research papers on neuroscience and human behaviour. He believes that if one communicates with love, they get a positive response, a principle he used to train his AI.
Support for farmers—’MSP Connect’
Jeet has developed another app called ‘MSP Connect’ specifically for farmers. Farmers can easily understand the Minimum Support Price (MSP) through this app. It helps them calculate the profit or loss on their crops. Jeet’s vision for this app is to include weather-forecasting features.
