Home Ministry orders drill amid rising India-Pakistan tensions
Following the Pahalgam attack, tensions have risen across the country and between India and Pakistan. In response, the Home Ministry has ordered all states to conduct a nationwide mock drill on May 7. Sirens will be sounded that day, and emergency services will follow specific instructions issued by the ministry. The goal is to inform citizens about safety steps during emergencies, especially during current heightened tensions with Pakistan.
