First Women’s Group from Thane Enters China for Kailash Mansarovar Yatra.

Spiritual Journey Begins After 5 Years.

After five years, the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra resumed on June 15, 2025. A group of women from Thane district became the first to enter China for this holy pilgrimage. Due to the pandemic, the yatra was halted since 2020. This year’s yatra was organized by Konkan region leader Rekha Patil, with support from Dr. VY Foundation head Priyanka Choure. The group includes women from Murbad and nearby areas. The 30-day yatra includes religious rituals at various spiritual sites and was completed peacefully by the group.
