India Women look to continue winning momentum against England Women
Having never won a T20I series against England Women, India Women started the five-match campaign with a comprehensive 97-run win on Saturday at Trent Bridge in Nottingham. Stand in captain Smriti Mandhana sparkled with her maiden T20I century and debutant Shree Charani impressed with her incisive spell picking up four wickets.
With still plenty to play for in this bilateral series, the hosts would look to make a comeback, and the visitors would eye another win. The two teams will meet on Tuesday for the second T20I at County Ground in Bristol.
