Marathi Books at Rails

MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde made a demand in the Lok Sabha session to set up shops selling Marathi literature in addition to the development of various infrastructure facilities at all the Central Railway Stations. 

80% of commuters in the Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency use local trains, and it is necessary to make all the local trains on the Kalyan route 15-coach trains. 

Platforms should be widened, and the Kalwa-Airoli Elevated Project should be accelerated. 

The number of Mail Express trips on the Konkan route and the frequency of the fast locals for Diva-CSMT and Kopar-Vasai railway trips should be increased. 

Travel concessions for senior citizens and journalists should be reinstated. 

Dr. Shinde submitted a statement during the Lok Sabha session that included the above key points. He suggested that the Railway Minister should discuss with the State Government and Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) to create a policy for the fifth and sixth lines between Thane and CSMT.
