Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan Extends Support to Farmers

₹1 Crore Contribution Announced for Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.

Setting an example of social responsibility, the Shirdi Sai Baba Sansthan has announced financial assistance of ₹1 crore towards the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to support farmers affected by heavy rains across Maharashtra. The contribution will be used to provide immediate relief to those who have suffered losses due to excessive rainfall.

Several districts in the state have been severely impacted by continuous downpours, disrupting daily life and causing widespread crop damage. In many areas, the situation has been described as a “wet drought.” Marathwada has been the worst hit, while North Maharashtra has also witnessed large-scale agricultural losses.

In response, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has instructed officials to conduct immediate crop damage assessments and provide timely compensation. He has also directed ministers to tour the affected regions. Alongside government measures, many social and religious organizations have stepped forward with aid, and the Sai Baba Sansthan’s contribution further strengthens this collective effort.

In another gesture of solidarity, 50 police officers from Dhule district collected ₹2 lakh from their salaries and handed over a cheque to the Chief Minister, showing their support for distressed farmers.
