Technology Takes Over Thane Police’s Work; MNS Protests Traffic Department.

The Thane city traffic department has started using technology to manage traffic operations instead of relying on police personnel. This move has led to protests by the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS).

MNS district president Avinash Jadhav led a strong protest in front of the traffic department’s office yesterday. The party warned that if the traffic department doesn’t implement proper measures on traffic violations, vehicle drivers will face action, and otherwise, vehicle drivers might go on strike.

MNS city president Ravindra More, along with party members like Sandeep Pachange, Pushkar Shankadi, expressed their views at the protest. The issue of traffic penalties has become severe in recent days, causing significant inconvenience to citizens in Thane.

The MNS has warned that if new technology isn’t used to improve traffic management and address citizens’ concerns, they will take further action.
