175 Flute Players to Perform Together in Thane.

A grand musical event will take place on Sunday, July 27, at Dr. Kashinath Ghanekar Natyagriha, Thane, starting at 10 a.m. For the first time in Thane, 175 flute players will perform together on one stage along with renowned flutist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia and his disciple Pandit Vivek Sonar.

Celebration of Musical Heritage

The event, named ‘Arpan’, is organized by Gurukul Pratishthan, founded by Pandit Vivek Sonar, to promote Indian classical music and nurture new talent. This program is part of their annual music festival.

Tribute to the Maestro

This special performance will feature a blend of traditional and new compositions, showcasing the rich legacy of Indian classical music. The program will also pay tribute to the legendary flutist Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia.

Pandit Vivek Sonar expressed that the collective flute performance by students will create a soulful atmosphere and offer the audience a memorable musical experience.
