Players to watch

Alyssa Healy: The captain of UP Warriorz top-scored with 55 runs from 38 balls, including seven fours and three sixes, against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the last match. This right-handed opening batter led the run chase from the front. However, her team, which had a target of 199 to achieve, fell shy of 23 runs.

Deepti Sharma: This Indian all-rounder was impressive with bat and ball in the last outing against the Royal Challengers Bangalore. This left-handed middle-order batter scored 33 runs from 22 balls, including four fours and a six, and scalped 1/30 in four overs, bowling off-spin.      

Hayley Matthews: The West Indian all-rounder contributed with bat and ball in her last match against Delhi Capitals. This right-handed opening batter muscled 29 runs from 17 balls, including six fours. With the ball, she claimed one wicket in two overs.

Pooja Vastrakar: This right arm speedster of Mumbai Indians was the most economical bowler in the last game against Delhi Capitals. She gave away 20 runs in four overs and snapped a wicket. With the bat, she scored 17 runs, including one six.

The conditions look good for batting. Expect a high scoring contest. However, the fast bowlers will get some assistance with the new ball, and the spinners could come into play later.
