Brake Failures Causing Frequent Accidents.

A dumper loaded with sand met with an accident in Vijaynagar, Kalyan, due to brake failure. This is the third such incident in two months in this area. Heavy vehicles lose control on this steep road, leading to accidents. Earlier, a similar brake failure had injured three people. Local residents fear serious mishaps, especially with schools nearby. Citizens have requested traffic police and KDMC to assign a traffic warden to control the situation, but no action has been taken yet.
