In 1989, with Mr. Ramakant’s unfortunate demise, Mr. Nitin Vete – the elder son and the present Managing Director and CEO of Vete Associates Group, joined the practice. Around that time, he was completing CA – articleship. It’s true that when the next generation joins in, they add value to the existing setup with their new ideas, skills, vision, and path to move forward. He put this in action by setting up his first office in Shreerang Society in 1994, a far cry from what we see today; the sprawling office setup of 7000 square feet in RUTU BUSINESS PARK. Mr. Nitin also gave this practice a legal name by establishing a company, “VETE ASSOCIATES TAX AND INVESTMENTS SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED.” The company, under his vision, became the ultimate platform for personalised investment solutions. The company primarily focuses on Wealth Creation, Wealth Protection, Taxation Expertise, and Professional Investment Services. This was possible only due to his hard work and futuristic vision. Mr. Nitin Vete often says, “THERE IS NO SHORTCUT TO SUCCESS.”

Today the company is managing 600+ crores of AUM and investment portfolios of 4500+ families. The Vete team comprises 35 professionals, including CAs, CFPs, and LLBs.The company has a rich industry experience of more than 60 years. Neela Vete visited the clients personally. Then, from 1982 to 1992 – the practice expanded further to Postal investments and office space. Later, post-1993 – Taxation services, Mutual Funds, and PMS were included in a boutique office environment.

He believes in his three decades of practice, and his real assets would be his team. The Vete Associates team is led by Ms. Smita Malvankar, the present Director of Business Growth and Strategy. She was also among the first employees who joined the company in 1997. Her discipline and value-centric approach help clientele achieve their financial goals on time. Under her guidance, a solid team of 35 professionals is nurturing.

Recently, the third generation, Ms. Nikita Vete – the present Chief Strategist, joined the company in 2019. The idea of cultivating financial literacy among clients and assisting them in achieving their financial goals inspired her to join the company. She is an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from SIBM, Pune. Understanding the client’s needs better than theirs is the skill she brings to the table.
