With public transport,more so the ubiquitous suburban railway services still not back on track,the office goers had to face traffic congestion on their way to office. Serpentine queues of vehicles from teen haath naka to toll plaza were seen. Thousands of Thanekars experienced agony as it took almost double the time to reach office.

‘The government should have made elaborate arrangements to avoid inconvenience in the very first day of Unlock-4. With trains not plying and buses running to full capacity,many commuters opted for private vehicles. As a result the roads got jammed within few minutes. The potholes on the road further added to the congestion. Social distancing norms were thrown to dogs as cars were seen carrying five passengers and two wheelers had two travelling on pillion. The Unlock-4 turned out to be fiasco as people were stranded on roads when they actually should have been at their desks.
