Heavy Winds Cause Tree Collapse, Tragic Accident Kills Passengers
A sudden gust of wind led to a large tree falling on an auto-rickshaw near Kalyan, killing the driver and two passengers, including a woman. The accident happened late Monday night amid heavy rain and strong winds. The damaged auto was found in Chinchpada area. Locals, including social worker Mahesh Gayakwad, rushed to help. The municipal staff was also alerted. Officials confirmed the victims died on the spot due to the impact of the tree fall.
