The Cake Kraft Studio is a one-stop store for all your baking and chocolate-making needs. It is located in Waghbil, Thane west and is owned by Mrs. Moonki Maiti. It is an up-to-date store which religiously follows the ever-changing trends in the market. The store is operational from 10:00 am to 9:30 pm, all days of the week and also provides home delivery. The store sells baking ingredients, crafty tools, chocolate-making supplies, decorative items, cake toppings and sprinklers, etc. The Cake Kraft studio majorly focuses on staying updated, keeping maximum variety and fulfilling all the needs of their customers. The store opened in the year 2016 and has managed to sustain all these years because of its strong customer base and their confidence in the Cake Kraft studio. “We have many loyal customers who have been with us from the start. Without their support, our journey would have been impossible”, said Mrs. Maiti. She has managed to find a pivotal gap in the industry by opening a one-of-a-kind store in the Ghodbunder area. “I wanted to be the first one to introduce a baking supply store in our neighbourhood and the response that we got was very overwhelming”, said Mrs. Maiti
“After the Covid-19 outbreak in 2020, the shop’s survival was at stake but we managed to tackle the situation in the end”, said Mrs. Maiti. After having two kids, she aspired to be a businesswoman and her family was always by her side. “My husband and my sons have been my rock through thick and thin”. With her business partner Asif’s help and guidance, she could make her dream a reality. Cake Kraft’s staff has been more like a family to Mrs. Maiti. From chocolate compound to flavour essence, they have it all. As many bakeries have emerged in the area and the population of at-home bakers has also increased, Cake Kraft has become every baker’s go-to store for basic to advanced level baking needs. Mrs. Maiti gave a message to all the aspiring businesswomen and said, “If you want to do something that genuinely makes you happy, age cannot be a factor. Once you set your mind on something, stick to it.”
