Thane police perform ‘aarti’ of morning walkers

With the number of coronavirus cases breaching the 150-mark in Thane, the cops who have been working day in and day out to protect the people from this pandemic resorted to a unique way to mock the lockdown violators. On Tuesday, Thane police performed ‘aarti’ of morning walkers. A woman police officer was seen performing ‘aarti’ of these people while another police officer at the site was seen explicating the repercussions of violating the rules. Despite the Centre announced an extended lockdown till May 3 last week, there are still a few who are found on the street, thus violating the rules.
