Rotary Club of Thane East installs mobile basin to fight coronavirus

Rotary Club of Thane East has come up with an innovative idea to fight the battle against coronavirus. Under the able aegis of their President Sudha Shankarnarayan, the Rotary Club has installed the first mobile basin at the Anand Dighe entry gate. The club will install many such mobile basins at different places like markets, school, temples, inter alia, in the city. Rotarian Satish Mane, head of this project stated, “These basins will not waste water. It is like a contactless basin, which means that without touching any part, people will get the water.” The President of the club added, “We have 50 such mobile basins ready at our disposal and with the help of other Rotary Clubs, who are also showing a lot of interest in this project, we will install all these basins soon.”
