“Promote Hindi, and We’ll Shut Shops and Schools Too!” – Raj Thackeray.
Strong Warning from MNS in Mira-Bhayandar.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray has warned that if schools in Maharashtra are forced to make Hindi compulsory, MNS will not only shut shops but also schools. Speaking at a rally in Mira-Bhayandar, he criticized efforts to impose Hindi in the state.
Thackeray said, if making Hindi compulsory is part of the government’s larger agenda, it must be resisted. He emphasized that Maharashtra has always pushed back against such impositions.
Counter to Dubey’s Remarks
Reacting to BJP MP Dubey’s comment that he would “hit Marathi people hard,” Raj Thackeray strongly replied, “You’ll hit us? We will drown you in Mumbai’s sea!” He declared that MNS will not tolerate threats to Marathi identity and will strongly oppose any disrespect.
