Priyanka Lanjekar spreads Ananda in Thane

Fashion designer Priyanka Lanjekar has always preferred customer service over money. As a result, many such customers came to visit her specially from different parts of Maharashtra. The one who understood the value of the customer knew the real business and the same happened as a real entrepreneur. Priyanka Lanjekar knew the value of the customers and that is why her brand ‘Ananda’ is becoming popular now.

Priyanka chose BMM subject after 12th standard. BMM is a degree in mass media. After getting this degree, many fields like journalism, advertising, film emerged as options for her. But Priyanka decided to carry on the legacy of her family. She received a degree in fashion designing from SNDT University in Santa Cruz. For that, she invested two precious years of her life.

Priyanka takes her role seriously. On one hand, she has the possibility to shape the environment and how people dress. It is a big part in the world we live in. As a designer, she can also communicate something to people and influence them. About textiles, she has to know which fabrics to use, where you want to produce them and so on. She has a lot of responsibilities as a fashion designer.

In fact Priyanka had collected several samples of clothes from various clothing shops. She combined these clothes and designed them to create blouses. These blouses started getting huge demand. She has created readymade blouses, one piece, and reversible jackets. These unique Marathi costumes also started to be appreciated by the vast audience. Hand-painted and embroidered blouses are also in high demand.

Famous Marathi actresses are the customers of ‘Ananda’ today. These include Maharashtra’s comedian Vanita Kharat, Rasika Vengurlekar, Suvedha Desai, Bhargavi Chiramule, Sukanya Kulkarni and many more. Priyanka has designed all the costumes worn by the lead actresses in most of the series which are aired on Marathi entertainment channels like Zee Marathi, Star Pravah, Sony Marathi, Colors Marathi.


On January 5, 2020, Priyanka Lanjekar started a boutique called ‘Ananda’ in Thane. The response was amazing. During the lockdown, online sales were booming. After a few months of unlockdown, the wedding-ceremony began and the mask became a fashion statement. Priyanka did not want to miss the opportunity to serve customers.
On the eve of Women’s Day, Priyanka is going to organize a small exhibition in her Thane boutique ‘Ananda’ on March 8.
