Potholes filled at war footing!

Thane: As there is a temporary lull in rain activity, TMC is repairing potholes on war footing. The civic commissioner has given orders to fill the potholes by Sunday.
Civic chief Dr. Vipin Sharma is constantly reviewing the situation and is inspecting the roads of Thane. As the monsoon has taken a break, the municipal commissioner ordered to start the work of filling the potholes on an immediate basis. Thus, the aforementioned work has gained momentum.
Potholes at Vrindavan society, Shreerang society, and on Rutu Park road were filled through asphalting while the potholes on the Mumbra flyover were filled with readymix.
Similarly, work is underway in Wagle Estate area and Brahmand. Also the repair work of potholes at Waghbil Naka and Purushottam Plaza that fall under Majiwada-Manpada ward are also in pipeline. Under the guidance of Municipal Engineer Ravindra Khadtale, Additional Municipal Engineer Arjun Ahire, Public Works Department engineers the potholes of Thane are being repaired.
Thane district guardian minister Eknath Shinde and mayor Naresh Mhaske are constantly reviewing the status of the potholes.
