On Friday, Thane municipal commissioner Dr. Vipin Sharma stated that the Thane Municipal Corporation (TMC) is building a field hospital in a parking lot adjoining Jupiter hospital. This step has been taken to ensure that if the hospital faces the problem of shortage of beds, there is no stoppage in the treatment of COVID-19 patients.
