No platform ticket to be issued at Thane, Kalyan, Panvel, CSMT, Dadar, and LTT for the next 7 days

Central Railway has decided to not issue platform tickets for the next seven days at CSMT, Dadar, LTT, Thane, Kalyan, and Panvel railway stations to manage the increased rush of passengers.

For the convenience of passengers, no platform tickets will be issued at CSMT and Dadar from 6 pm to 12.30 am, Thane from 7 pm to 1.30 am, Kalyan from 6 pm to 1.30 am, LTT from 6.30 pm to 1 am and Panvel from 11 pm to 2 am.

However, according to a Central Railway official, the only exemption will be for a person accompanying senior citizens, disabled people, children and women passengers. That person can be issued a platform ticket.
