No Dahi Handi this year, funds to be allocated for COVID-19 relief: Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik

Shiv Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik’s Sanskruti Yuva Pratishthan has decided to not organize Dahi Handi this year, instead, allocate the same funds to COVID-19 relief. The organizing body is popular for its annual Dahi Handi celebrations in Thane’s Vartak Nagar area. It has also entered the Guinness Book of Records for the highest nine-tier formation. With the celebrations cancelled this year, the organization has decided to donate the money to fight the pandemic.
