NCP leader Dr. Jitendra Awhad criticized the minister, saying it’s shameful to play games when farmers are dying by suicide due to online gambling debts. He added that Munde’s actions showed insensitivity towards the suffering of farmers. The video of Munde playing the game has gone viral, leading to public outrage. Awhad demanded strict action, comparing it to the resignation demand made in Manikrao Kokate’s gambling case. The Congress and NCP have both slammed the minister, calling it a serious issue. Awhad further stated that instead of setting an example, such acts bring shame to the Assembly. The matter has been raised with the Assembly Speaker for further investigation.
