Lives of the staff working in quarantine centers could be in danger: Ashok Vaity

TMC House Leader House Mr Ashok Vaity has given a letter to Thane Mayor Mr Naresh Mhaske and Thane Municipal Commissioner Mr Vijay Singhal, warning that the health and livelihood of the staff and officers in the TMC declared quarantine centers could be in danger. This letter comes after Mr Vaity himself went to the quarantine centers and inspected them. The officers and staff working in the D – Building in Bhayander Pada, Sapphire Hospital, and Hotel Lerida need to be posted after every three days using rotation policy. However, it has been observed that the staff and officers are constantly on duty with coronavirus patients all around and due to this constant contact with COVID patients, there is a high risk to the lives of the staff and officers. All those of duty should be tested. If there is any danger to the health of the officers and staff then it will be the responsibility of the municipality administration.
