Leopard spotted in Thane’s Unnathi Gardens

On Thursday night at around 11pm, a leopard was captured on a CCTV camera at Unnathi Gardens, a residential complex, located at the foot of Yeoor Hills. The sudden sight of the animal created panic and fear among the people around. The leopard was seen walking in the premises of the society. It was confirmed that the leopard did not hurt anybody.

On receiving the information, Vartak Nagar Police, Thane Forest Department officials and Disaster Management Cell authorities rushed to the spot and issued precautionary instructions to the residents of the society. The Thane Forest Department officials searched for the leopard overnight, however they could not find the animal.
